The first step to an online presence is to get your own domain name. R85 per year for a co.za domain and R125 per year for com, biz, info and net domain names.

Such domain name must be hosted somewhere and we recommend our business hosting package at R95 per month. The home user package at R45 pm is cheaper but you have only one email address and cannot do a few things below with a home user package.

Many of the websites and templates available on the website shop are also available for free from our web hosting control panel and the suggestion above to register a domain name and apply for hosting will therefore enable you to test the different websites and templates for free.

After we configured your hosting we will send you a link to your web hosting control panel. Please understand that you cannot mess things up and even if you manage to do that we are still there to help you.

With above in mind don't be afraid to try and test the different things on your hosting control panel and we in fact recommend that you try at least the Fantastico DeLuxe program to install and test programs and scripts that you are interested in.

Second Step

The second step is to decide what kind of internet presence you want and it will help a lot of you followed our advice in step 2 above because testing the different programs and scripts will give you a good idea of the different things you can do online.

While it depends on what you want to do I normally recommend two different aspects of an online presence for a business.

Step Three

Once you decided what you want you can now use your hosting control panel to install any of the free programs, scripts or templates or use the website shop to purchase or select something else.

As said you can use the web hosting control panel to install MANY different scripts, programs or templates for free so you perhaps wonder about the prices on the website shop.

The reason for that is that the default installation of such scripts and programs is free and the prices are for the customized designs and layouts for such programs and scripts.
